What's in my bag

I
have received a few e-mails wondering "whats in my bag"... well.... this is it! The lenses at least. What lens do I LOVE to shoot with? The 50 mm. 1.2. I swear, it is a phenomenal lens that makes everything look a little bit better :) I shoot with the "L" series lenses and I have been building my bag up slowly. I first started with the 24-105 lens. If you are a beginner photographer, this is a lens that is a must. I highly suggest purchasing this lens (if you don't mind spending the money) because its a great wide angle lens that you can... ome of you may get bored of this post and skim through it fast to look at the photos but I guess I have a little something teetering on my heart. After traveling last week from San Francisco to San Diego, I started to see a consistency of commonalities throughout my photos. First, I witnessed a proposal, an engagement session, a portrait session, and finally a wedding. In between my work stops, I also saw love in unexpected places. Two of just about everything. As we are meant to be, two by each others sides. Whether we are people, animals or... View Full Post

ello fellow blog readers!! I recently have a break with some work until this weekend so I thought I would blog about something more personal. I just recently posted about my venture for the perfect authentic vintage dress and I have narrowed the choice down to two fabulous finds. My amazing bride Cortney sent me a link to this vintage store and I have to give Cortney a special thanks because this store is FABULOUS! ! I need some help deciding. This is where you guys come in! These two dresses are both from 1950 and are the same price, same... View Full Post

s my wedding approaches, I keep finding more and more things I need to get done. ONE detail that will take some time, is finding the PERFECT vintage dress for the rehearsal dinner. I was browsing my mom's computer a few weeks ago and stumbled upon this FABULOUS photo of my nana. I know she is reading this and will probably kill me for posting this but I think she is the most stunning woman inside and out. I just HAD to show everyone how absolutely gorgeous and timeless she looks in this photo!! Besides my mom, and well.. every woman in my... View Full Post

oday was a very emotional day for my family. We all gathered at the hospital in anticipation for baby Wesley to be born. I woke up this morning to a phone call from my dad with the good news. "Auntie Steph! Its time!" I rushed out of bed, showered, grabbed starbucks (duh!!!) and of course grabbed my camera as I headed to the hospital. Im typically not too good with hospitals. Needles, blood, even hospital beds sometimes just make me want to keel over and sleep with a horrible stomach ache! I HATE the thought of being sick or even someone... View Full Post

o I bought some fabulous furniture. I went browsing through a used furniture store and walked out with some amazing goodies. You may think the blue chair is a bit much but it works AWESOME in my living room. I have a tendency to mix vintage with modern and the chair with a sweet modern pillow does just the trick. The chair is ALSO a wonderful prop for some photoshoots coming up. :) As you can see Margo can't quite get enough of it. Shes constantly giving me that "I totally own this comfy chair" look. Pffft! Whatever Margs... I also am proud... View Full Post
