Laguna Beach Engagements : Susan + Ian

This past weekend, I met Susan and Ian in Laguna Beach for their ADORABLE engagement session. These two are nothing but bunches of fun. I found myself smiling throughout the ENTIRE session behind the camera. After shooting in downtown Laguna Beach, we headed to Crystal Cove to finish the shoot. On the way to the second half of the session, Susan and Ian told us how they met.
They got to know each other as just "friends" during college at UCSD. Nothing really seemed to spark serious interest until they found cheap tickets to Chicago from San Francisco. Although they lived in La Jolla, driving to San Fran to fly to Chicago seemed like no problem. They hopped in the car together as "just friends" until the game of truth or truth turned their friendship into a relationship. Although they were both possibly headed to different graduate schools, they had faith their relationship could last while they both pursue their dreams in their ideal professions. I admire these two for their strength and love for each other. I cannot stop smiling as I look at these photos! One thing I should mention about Susan and Ian is just how thoughtful they are. We met them on a street corner to begin photos and Susan and Ian walked up with two cupcakes in their hands for us. It was the day before Valentines day and they actually brought us a treat!
Susan and Ian, THANK YOU for your sweet hearts and willingness to have fun in front of the camera. You even climbed hills for me in heels to get the perfect shot. You guys are THE BEST! Click HERE to see a slideshow of the day!
