When I met Laura years ago, I always enjoyed the occasional times we spent together. She was always a positive girl with a contagious laugh. I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Laura's fiance JJ at coffee, while we all discussed the wedding. I felt immediately at ease around the both of them. I couldn't help but to observe how laid back and joyful they both seemed together. I knew working with the both of them would be a blast. Laura chose the Botanical Gardens for the engagement shoot. We had a great time exploring the gardens amongst all the dozens of people that showed up that day to see the glass exhibit. Even though it was crowded, we had a great time laughing and hanging out. Thank you both for making the day so enjoyable and I am looking forward to seeing you both again in June!

JJ was definitely a trooper for sitting next to these pink flowers as bees swarmed the bush.

I have decided to begin yet another branding of my business. Branding is such an important element of any business. Who are you trying to market to? How does this brand represent you? This past year, I felt I desperately needed a change. I actually changed my look a few different times and nothing seemed to just "click". Finally, I decided that a good brand would really take some good investment. I called the guys at Infinet Design and explained exactly what I was looking for. Even though I could not pin point to a "T" what I was looking for, Dave and Brock were able to nail down an idea that seemed to definitely fit my description. I was sold. I definitely feel that if you do not LOVE what you have, you need to change it until you are 100 percent satisfied. Even if it takes a few trial runs, its worth it! I am currently working on a new website and will be re-branding my name from Tunnel Photography to Stephanie Fay. I chose Tunnel when I first began because the name just started to stick. I loved taking photos under this one particular bridge that gave a sort of tunnel effect. The name stuck and people remembered it. Although I will miss Tunnel, I feel that using my name is a bit more sophisticated for me and I am extremely excited to begin the process of launching my website with MY name. :)
Anyways.... on another note, I had the absolute pleasure of working with JasmineStar for my OWN engagement session. We also were lucky enough to have Elysium Productions come along and document our session! Elysium just launched a brand new company called The Fusion Post which is a product for photographers combining both video and photographs. Stephen and I feel very proud to have worked with such a phenominal team. Be sure to check out what The Fusion Post is all about! This is a great way to see a glimpse of just how comfortable and easy an engagement session can be. Be sure to check out both the promo and engagement session videos. The promo is something that is really great for photographers to show clients just how an engagement session can flow. I know as photographers, we always want our clients to feel the most comfortable. By allowing them to have an idea of how most engagement sessions work, each couple can create a mental picture of what THEY want the day to feel like. |

I have been beyond blessed with every couple I have worked with thus far. I wanted to just highlight a few photos that were my favorite. I have one photo in just about every wedding that stands out as a favorite but I had to just pick a few :) Im a bit late at highlighting for the year of 2008 but I am proud to highlight them on my new blog! Thanks to the Dave and Brock at Infinet Design I now have a blog that has been designed for me exactly how I wanted it! I could not be happier with the outcome and more please with the customer service both Dave and Brock provided. I recommend them to anyone that is looking to build an OUTSTANDING blog. I also want to thank all my clients for being so MUCH fun to work with of course beyond beautiful. I am absolutely blown away by how photogenic everyone is! I love that I have not only made friends with my clients but that I have been able to experience the biggest day of their lives WITH them. Thank you.

Well, I decided I wanted this section on my blog because I change my mind TOO many times. Hopefully here, anyone and everyone can get to know me just a bit better :) I wanted to start with Margo because she is the one thing I know I wont change my mind on! (Other than the people I love :) This my adorable rambunctious pug Margo. Margo is abnormally small 10 pound pug but she seems to fit in well with the big dogs. I work next to her ALL day, sleep next to her and most of the time, eat next to her. Unfortunately I rarely share my food but her eyes do seem to agree on every meal I make.

If you know me well, you would know that I am an avid coffee and tea drinker. It may not be too swell for my teeth but it keeps me going all day. I will admit I LOVE starbucks. YES yes I said it....... I LOVE starbucks. Starbucks coffee just has a different taste to it. Any coffee is good but I love the rich taste of a hot cup of starbucks in the morning. At night though, I drink some hot green tea with some calm stirred in. with a bit of honey. Calm is a little bit of magnesium that helps me sleep well. After sitting at my computer all day, its hard for my mind to stop running thoughts around in my head and calm does the trick.

When I first met with Jonathan for coffee to discuss the wedding, I knew right away he was thrilled to marry his college sweetheart Pauline. They met in college her freshman year. Jonathan casually looked up from the registration table and saw her walking down stairs towards him. " I think she would like to know me!" Jonathan chuckled as he explained how he felt when he first saw her. Jonathan and Pauline dated for five years before Jonathan eagerly popped the question. One thing I noticed while shooting Jonathan and Pauline is their confidence for each other. Not only are they confident individuals, but their faith will make them even stronger as a couple. I know that their ministry together will succeed because of their gentle hearts and strong spirits. I am SO excited to shoot both of you again at your wedding March 1st!!
